Splinter Cell: Conviction demo available on Xbox LIVE now

Ubisoft’s community developer, Li Kuo, has updated his Twitter status to say that a PC demo for Splinter Cell: Conviction is not planned. Details below.

The promised, detailed and awaited demo for Splinter Cell: Conviction is now ready and available for download on Xbox LIVE at the hefty size of 1.2 GB, but as is customary for highly anticipated pieces of content on Marketplace, it’s currently limited to Xbox LIVE Gold members only.

God of War 3 Walkthrough – PlayStation 3. Yes, the ultra violence game third installment is here! God of War 3 III due for release on March 16, 2010 for PlayStation 3. Prepare for an exhilarating combat experience that will end to Krato’s saga. As usual, you’ll be amazed by the outstanding visuals- the graphics are really tasty. More challenging and diverse boss battles. The combat in God of War 3 is not much different from its predecessors (part 1 and 2) but there are some control tweaks and new moves. No more coward adversaries that manage to dodge Kratos’ whirling blade can go far because of the bow you can accquire early on the game. And it isn’t tied to your magic meter anymore.

Sony PlayStation Move motion controllers to launch this fall

Sony has announced details and the upcoming release of the PlayStation Move motion controllers at the GDC 2010 in San Francisco this week, declaring the controllers will deliver “a motion-based, high-definition gaming experience unlike anything on the market.” That’s a pretty big promise.

The PlayStation Move controller is supposed to be more accurate in movements thanks to advanced motion sensors. Gamers operate the controls via action buttons and an analog trigger, with the typical shock and rumble treatment from the controller itself.

Sony will also concurrently debut a PlayStation Move sub-controller for use alongside the motion controller for extra navigation of in-game objects.  At least 20 titles will be released in the 2010 that cater specifically to the two new motion controllers. Read more

PetPet Park Overview

PetPet Park is a 2D browser based virtual world geared towards kids. Nickelodeon and Neopets have teamed up to bring us this cartoony mini-game filled game. Players must dress up their PetPet, feed it, and keep it well entertained by playing minigames like battleship, bowling, and many others.

PetPet Park is a ’spinoff’ of the popular Neopets site. The game is centered around petpets, which, in the original Neopets, wew pets players assigned to their pets. In PetPet Park, these once minor characters take on an important role and serve as avatars which players control as they explore the virtual world. Like its predessor, PetPet Park offers colorful visuals and gameplay consisting mainly of mini games. There are currently 20 areas for players to explore but plenty of room left on the map for more. Playstation Network Error Codes

It’s unclear exactly what’s going on at the moment, but it appears that the PlayStation Network is down and causing a whole host of related problems for PS3 systems, including 8001050F error codes, game crashes, corrupted trophy info, and even the complete inability to launch certain titles. There’s no ETA on when things will get back to normal — looks like it’s gonna be a Blu-ray kind of evening for PS3 owners out there.
