Lady Gaga Tour Dates “Monster Ball” North America 2010

Ring The Alarm: Lady Gaga is bringing her “Poker Face” Stateside. On Monday, the pop star unveiled 31 new tour dates headed for the US and Canada. The “Telephone” singer will kick off the new leg of her North American Monster Ball Tour in Montreal on June 28.

The upcoming concerts promise to be “even more eye-popping” than her current shows, according to a statement released by Live Nation’s global touring CEO Arthur Fogel on Monday.

“Lady GaGa has set out to revolutionise pop music and with her new production she continues to do exactly that. We’re thrilled to take the ‘Monster Ball’ to fans around the world.”

Laurie Berkner is a 40-year-old musician, but her biggest fans are probably about 4. That’s because she’s a regular on Jack’s Big Music Show on Nickelodeon, and a staple on the Move to the Music set of episodes that run on the kids’ network. She’s been making children’s music since 1997, according to NJ.com.

Berkner started off small and taught kids’ music classes and played at birthday parties, then began making up her own songs to play at her gigs. Then things took off. She said about writing her own stuff: “It actually made it a lot easier to work with them because it was hard to find a song that every kid would like. And by me writing, it allowed them to move around the room in a way that I had control over the situation without them even realizing it.” Read more
